The Batten School is proud to welcome the incoming MPP Class of 2019!

We hope the program below will help you prepare for the excitement to come.  Our Math, Econ, Writing, and Stata Primers will lay an academic foundation that you will build upon during your time here. The conversations and information sessions with our Faculty and Research Center Directors will open your eyes to the great opportunities ahead.  Interactive programs, such as a state-of-the-art simulation, team building activities at the Wintergreen Resort, and a day of community service known as Batten Builds, will help you get to know the entire Batten community.  Lastly, an engaging keynote address by Ryan Burke, the former Special Assistant to the President for Economic Policy, will highlight opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
